If the issues are related to your order from our web store, you can do any of the following by visiting eSellerate’s after-purchase support site:

  • print a receipt of your order
  • re-download purchased products
  • request serial numbers
  • report accidental duplicate orders

  • access your order history
  • request purchase process information

If this doesn’t help or if you don’t know your order number, contact us at support@jumsoft.com.

Do you offer educational discounts?

While trying to download my purchase, I get a message that says, “Wrong serial number.” What should I do?

Please check that you entered your serial number correctly, with no spaces or other symbols before or after it. We recommend copying and pasting the number rather than entering it manually.

The download screen says, “Your download will begin shortly,” but nothing seems to be happening. What should I do?

You should first empty the cache of your browser. If that doesn’t help, try using another browser.

What methods of payment does the Jumsoft store support?

We use the eSellerate e-commerce system that supports transactions for all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and ICB, as well as PayPal accounts. We currently do not accept payment by check, purchase order, cash, or money order.

Why can‘t I see my new templates or themes in Pages, Keynote, or Mail chooser after purchasing from the Mac App Store?

Unfortunately, Apple does not allow installing any Mac App Store add-ons directly into its software. However, you can still get your templates or themes to show in Pages, Keynote, or Mail. See the following FAQs for specific instructions.

How can I get my new templates (Inspiration Set, Stationery Set, Business Mix Set, Corporate Style Packs) into the Pages Template Chooser after the installation?

After opening the preview window of our app, click All Templates in the category sidebar, hold down the Cmd + A keys, and then click Save Template. The template files will be saved in the following location: User’s Account/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/ Templates/My Templates. They will appear in the Pages Template Chooser under My Templates.

How can I get my new themes into the Keynote Theme Chooser after the installation?

After opening the preview window of our app, drag one of the themes to the following location: User HD/Library/Application Support/iWork/Keynote/Themes. The theme will appear in the Keynote Theme Chooser. Repeat the same steps for each theme you want to include in your Keynote.

How can I get my new stationery templates into Apple Mail after the installation?

After opening the preview window of our app, click All Stationery in the category sidebar, hold down the Cmd + A keys, and then click Save Stationery. The template files will be saved in the following location: Library/Application Support/Apple/Mail/Stationery/Jumsoft/ Contents/Resources. Next time you open your Mail, you will find the new templates next to the standard ones.

Can I get a refund for my Mac App Store purchase?

We cannot issue a refund for an application purchased on the Mac App Store because we cannot access the purchase records. However, you can contact Apple about it.

My download from the Mac App Store was interrupted. How should I proceed?

Apple has a support article on how to resume interrupted downloads here.

Can I import my data from other applications?

Yes, you can import QIF, OFX, QFX, and CSV data files.

Where does Money store its data files?

Money saves its data files in the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/ Money/ . To access User’s Library on OS X Lion, you need to hit Cmd+Shift+G from the Mac desktop (or open Finder > Go > Go to Folder) and type in “~/Library” to temporarily access the Library directory in the Finder.

Can I transfer Money from my desktop to my laptop with the license?

First of all, we suggest you back up your data. Then, you need to copy (or move) 3 files to your new computer:

  1. The Money application is the application you launch. You can copy it from your old computer or download the latest version here.
  2. Money preferences file is available at ~/Library/Preferences/com.jumsoft.money3.plist. Copy this file to the same location on your new computer: ~/Library/Preferences/. To access User’s Library on OS X Lion, you need to hit Cmd+Shift+G from the Mac desktop (or open Finder > Go > Go to Folder) and type in “~/Library” to temporarily access the Library directory in the Finder.
  3. Money data file.If you want to move all your Money data from one computer to another, you should copy the contents of the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/. If you have not yet launched Money in your new computer, there will be no folder ~/Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/, so you should create it manually or launch Money first and this folder will be created automatically.

Note: If you cannot find the data file in ~/Library/…/Money/, you should check for it in your Documents folder.

What should I do if I keep getting a sync-error message?

Try using the Restore feature on Money for Mac. After the Restore dialog box appears, make sure that you have both checkboxes ticked and that you have selected the latest backup version. Click Restore. Afterwards, try syncing again.

Syncing via Dropbox

To use Money on your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch), you will need to purchase a copy of Money for iPhone or iPad, which are available on the iTunes App Store. They work as stand-alone applications to let you track your accounts and transactions on the go, and they can sync data with Money for Mac via your Dropbox account.

You can sync your financial data in all three versions by storing your Money documents in Dropbox and accessing them from any of your devices.

Syncing via Dropbox on Mac

  1. Open the menu option Money > Preference > Dropbox.
  2. Click Connect with Dropbox. Dropbox website will open in your browser.
  3. Sign in to your Dropbox account. Afterwards you will be notified of the successful connection.
  4. Save the documents that you want to sync in Dropbox (File > Save in Dropbox).
  5. Now all changes that you make to your Money document on your Mac will be automatically sent to the file stored in Dropbox.

Syncing via Dropbox on iOS

  1. Go to Settings > Documents.
  2. Tap the Connect with Dropbox button, and sign into your account.
  3. You will be asked if you want to transfer the current documents to Dropbox. If you have already transferred the documents with the same data from Mac, you do not need to transfer them from the iOS devices. You should keep them on the device and delete them (or keep them as backup copies if you want to).
  4. By now you should be able to see new files with the blue Dropbox icon on them. Those are the files that were uploaded from the Mac and saved in Dropbox. You can now edit them from any of your devices.
  5. To download the latest changes to a file, select the Home tab and pull the screen down (on the iPad, you can initiate syncing from any tab).
  6. After you have finished making changes to the file, pull the Home screen down again (or any screen on the iPad).

Are the clipart images searchable?

Can I use the clipart on my iPad?

I downloaded Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart, but I get an installation error. What should I do?

If you are running OS X Lion, you should relaunch Mail or restart your computer and then make sure the new stationery templates are, in fact, not displayed in Mail. The installer occasionally displays random errors on Lion machines despite the installation being successful.

If the new stationery is still not displayed or if you are running an earlier version of Mac OS X, you might want to re-download the product and try again. If that doesn’t help, please email us at support@jumsoft.com.

I downloaded and installed Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart but cannot see the new templates in Mail. What should I do?

First of all, you should relaunch Mail and then look for the new stationery templates. As trivial as it may seem, you should also scroll down the list of stationery categories in the New Message window to find the new ones.

I downloaded and installed Stationery Set but cannot see the new stationery in Mail. Why is that?

Stationery Set was actually designed to be used with Pages rather than Mail. If you intended to get stationery for Mail but purchased Stationery Set, please email us at support@jumsoft.com.

I upgraded to OS X Lion, and my stationery templates disappeared. What should I do?

The Lion installation might have erased stationery files, so you should re-download the stationery pack. You can do it here, using your old serial number. If you no longer have your serial number, please contact us at support@jumsoft.com.

Do I need to have Apple’s Mail in order to install and use Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart?

Yes, our stationery products were designed specifically to be used with Mail 3 or later.

Are your stationery templates compatible with Gmail, Yahoo Mail, MS Outlook, or Outlook Express?

You will not be able to install Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart on any email program but Apple’s Mail. However, your recipients who use Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and other popular email services (with the exception of Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and Hotmail) will be able to view your emails created with our stationery.

Where is Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart installed?

Our stationery templates are installed in the following location: Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Apple > Mail > Stationery.

Are your stationery templates properly displayed on all email programs?

The best viewing experience is provided by Apple’s Mail as the stationery templates are designed specifically for this program. Gmail and Yahoo Mail also display templates correctly, provided that their settings allow displaying image content. However, this is not the case with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and Hotmail. For security reasons, these programs display only text-free image content in HTML emails, which does not apply to stationery backgrounds..

I downloaded and installed Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart, but the templates come up in a foreign language. Where can I get the English version?

Our stationery templates contain a standard placeholder text used in the publishing and graphic design industries, “lorem ipsum.” When you use the templates for your own needs, you should just type over the placeholder text.

Is there a character limit for emails created with Mail Stationery or Mail Stationery Smart?

It depends on the stationery design. If the text is placed within an element of a strict structure, e.g., circle, it cannot be expanded beyond the borders of the element. However, most of the designs can be expanded and have no limits.

Is there a way to save the changes I made to a stationery template?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to save any changes as Mail does not support the “Save as Stationery” feature found in pre-designed stationery templates. We suggest you save the modified stationery as a draft for later use.

Can stationery templates be printed in addition to being used for email?

No, our stationery templates cannot be printed.

How can I get my new templates (Inspiration Set, Stationery Set, Business Mix Set, Corporate Style Packs) into the Pages Template Chooser after downloading the application?

After opening the preview window of our app, click All Templates in the category sidebar, hold down the Cmd + A keys, and then click Save Template. The template files will be saved in the following location: User’s Account/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/ Templates/My Templates. They will appear in the Pages Template Chooser under My Templates.

I downloaded Inspiration Set, but the application crashes each time I try to open it. What should I do?

If the application keeps crashing, you should right-click on its icon, select Get Info, and check the “Open in 32-bit mode” box under the General section. Then launch the application and see if it works.

I downloaded Inspiration Set or Stationery Set for iOS on my iPhone or iPad, but the templates would not install. What should I do?

Please check to see whether you have Pages for iOS installed on your device.

Do I need to have Pages (iWork) in order to install and use Inspiration Set, Stationery Set, Business Mix Set, or Corporate Style Packs?

Yes, these products were designed specifically to be used with Pages 4.0 or later. The same applies to the iOS versions of Inspiration Set and Stationery Set, which require Pages for iOS.

Where are your templates for Pages installed?

Our templates are installed in the following location: User’s Account/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Templates.

The product description for the brochure, newsletter, and other multi-layout templates says they contain up to 20 sections. However, upon opening a document, I can see only 2 pages. How can I find the rest of them?

You can access the remaining sections by clicking Sections (or Pages for page layout templates) in the toolbar.

How can I change the color of a template background?

You can simply replace the images used in selected templates (for some templates, you might need to unlock them first with Arrange > Unlock). Alternatively, you can select View > Show Adjust Image and change the color properties. However, you will have to make sure you change them consistently in all selected templates.

On your iPhone or iPad, you can change the color of a selected background by clicking the Information icon in the toolbar.

In some templates, I am unable to simply drag an image onto the existing template image to replace it. How can I do that?

In some templates, we consider the provided images to be an integral part of the design, so we do not recommend changing them. However, if you absolutely must do that, select the image and go to Format > Advanced > Define as Media Placeholder.

How can I resize a document?

You can resize a document by selecting Pages > Page Setup > Paper Size. Word processing templates will be reformatted automatically, but you will have to adjust page layout elements manually.

How can I save a modified document as a template?

You can save your documents as templates by selecting File > Save As Template. You can also choose where you want to save them.

Can I convert documents created with your templates to the Word, PDF, or ePub file formats?

Pages files created with any of our templates can be exported to the PDF and Word formats, although Word may not support some minor elements, such as character borders. Please note that page layout documents will be converted to word processing documents in Word.

You can also export word processing documents to the ePub file format for reading in an ePub reader. Documents created in page layout templates can’t be exported to the ePub format. Please note that documents exported to ePub format will look different than their Pages counterparts.

How can I unlock some of your locked items in Book Palette templates?

You should slide down the Book handle in the left sidebar to reveal master layouts. There you will be able to edit or remove most images or other items. Some of those might be locked, which you can easily fix by selecting Arrange > Unlock.

I cannot replace a placeholder image or edit text in one of the templates. What should I do?

It is likely that you have spotted a minor error on our side, and we would really appreciate if you reported it at support@jumsoft.com. In the meantime, you should slide down the Book handle on the top of the sidebar to reveal the master layouts. Then, select the field you wish to edit, go to Inspector > Layout and check the “Editable on pages using this layout” box. Click Apply changes, and all book pages with that layout will be editable in the future.

How can I change the language of the automatically numerated chapters, sections, etc.?

There is no way of changing the language automatically in iBooks Author. However, you could edit the relevant text in the master layouts and save the edited version as a new template in My Templates folder. Just remember to check if the changes are applied in the portrait orientation.

Is there a way to delete the table of contents in iBooks Author?

No, you will not be able to remove the table of content.

Could you design a few book templates without the chapter-section structure?

At this point iBooks Author only supports books with the chapter-section structure, which is perfectly suited for academic literature.

I have downloaded Keynote Themes on my Mac, but the themes would not install. What should I do?

Please check if you have iWork ’08 or a later version installed on your computer. Also, our installers require Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

Do I need to have Keynote (iWork) in order to install and use Keynote Themes?

Yes, Keynote Themes were designed specifically to be used with Keynote 3.0 or later.

Are Keynote Themes compatible with MS PowerPoint?

You can export a completed Keynote presentation to the .ppt format and view it on PowerPoint. However, you will not be able to install Keynote Themes on PowerPoint.

I have downloaded and installed Keynote Themes on my Mac, but cannot see the new themes in Keynote Theme Chooser. What should I do?

First of all, you should relaunch Keynote and then look for the new themes. If they still are not displayed in Theme Chooser, try re-downloading the product and reinstalling it. If that doesn’t help, please contact our support team.

Is there a way to use Keynote Themes on the iPad?

You can transfer the themes saved as presentation files from your Mac to iPad and edit them later.

Where are your themes for Keynote installed?

Our themes are installed in the following location: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/iWork/Keynote/Themes.

I would like to edit a theme background or one of its design elements but I can’t find how to do it or even how to select the element. How can I do that?

You should first double-click on the desired element. A pop-up window will appear, offering you to edit the master slide. After you select Edit Master, choose Arrange > Unlock. Now you will be able to edit the element or remove it.

What happens when I transfer a completed Keynote presentation to my iPad and give the presentation from there? Will the theme remain intact?

It actually depends on a specific theme. Keynote for iPad is a stripped-down version of its Mac equivalent and therefore has a few issues displaying presentations that are transferred from Mac. For instance, custom fonts are not supported and some image frames are displayed incorrectly. However, you can solve most of these issues with some minor editing after transferring a presentation to your iPad.

Can I export a Keynote document created with your themes to QuickTime?

Yes, Keynote presentations created with our themes can be exported to QuickTime, just like any other Keynote project.
